Coupe Décor Maintenance Ltd have appointed Summit Electrical Installations Ltd to carry out the Electrical installation works at Birmingham Exiles Rugby Football Club.

The project is a complete refurbishment of the existing club building and also includes works to external lighting associated with the scheme - driveway lighting & security lighting, whilst also ensuring that the existing electrical supply is sufficient for the new rugby pitch flood lighting.

The building is being refurbished on behalf of Birmingham Airport Limited who are carrying out these works on behalf of Birmingham Exiles Rugby Football Club.

Summit will be responsible for the supply and installation of the Mains Distribution, Small Power, Lighting and Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm, TV Aerial, External Lighting and electrical supplies for the mechanical plant.

ADT Integrated Systems have awarded Summit Electrical Installations Ltd the Fire and Security Installation at Birmingham City University’s New City Campus Extension.

The prestige Phase one works will provide a state-of-the art home for the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design (BIAD), incorporating a Media Hub, and marks the first step in creating a multi-million pound centre of excellence. It will be ready for staff and students in September 2013.

The city centre campus will support the creative industries, business engagement, applied innovation and cultural excellence.

The 18,310m² facility will be adjacent to the landmark Millennium Point building, already home to the University’s Faculty of Technology, Engineering and the Environment (TEE).

The site, which was previously a car park that runs adjacent to Curzon Street, will form the first phase on Birmingham’s Eastside - an important part of Birmingham’s Big City Plan.

The new building could fit in the same volume as the Albert Hall and 32 Olympic size swimming pools could be squeezed inside.

Working alongside ADT, M&E contractors NG Bailey and Main Contractors Willmott Dixon, Summit Electrical will be responsible for the supply and install of the entire Fire and Security package comprising of secondary containment and Cabling for the Fire Alarm, PAVA, Disabled Refuge, Disabled WC, Induction Loop, CCTV, Access Control, Intruder and Intercom Systems along with pre-commissioning.

Following the success of Trailfinders, Chester, Contract Administrator Lustedgreen have appointed Summit Electrical Installations Ltd as the Electrical Contractor for the New Trailfinders Travel Centre in Liverpool.

Working with Main Contractor Woodcraft Joinery Ltd, Summit are to install the Distribution, High Spec Lighting including LED features, Small Power and Fire Alarm systems to the Trailfinders retail space and shell and core works to a sub let area. Again the programme is fast track and to a high quality of finish.

The Liverpool branch will be the 26th Travel Centre with branches in the UK and Eire including Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and 4 centres in London.

Contract Administrator Lustedgreen have appointed Summit Electrical Installations Ltd as the Electrical Contractor for the New Trailfinders Travel Centre in Chester.

Working with Main Contractor Woodcraft Joinery Ltd, Summit are to install the Distribution, High Spec Lighting including LED features, Small Power and Fire Alarm systems to 2 floors of retail space and 2 floors of office space in a short programme and to a high quality of finish.

The Chester branch will be the 25th Travel Centre with branches in the UK and Eire including Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and 4 centres in London.

E.G. Carter & Co. Ltd have appointed Summit Electrical Installations Ltd as the Electrical Contractor for the new build and refurbishment of Challinor House, Cheltenham for the University of Gloucestershire.

The project will involve completely refurbishing and extending of Challinor House, a Halls of Residence at The Park Campus in Cheltenham.

The 1960's built building will be refurbished and extended over 2 phases and will commence for Summit in April 2012 with a completion date of September 2013, ready for the intake of new students.  

Summit will be responsible for the design, supply and installation of the Mains Distribution, Small Power, Lighting and Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm, Data, TV Aerial, CCTV, Energy Saving Access Control System (similar to that of a hotel) and Photovoltaics systems.
