From the 1st June Summit Electrical have been on the Framework for Responsive Property Maintenance and Dayworks by Staffordshire County Council.
The framework is to provide Staffordshire County Council with an agreed schedule of work rates to work on County Council owned buildings within specified geographical areas throughout Staffordshire. The framework will generally consist of carrying out minor responsive maintenance services and works with the majority of the work within occupied properties with individual order values up to £5,000. From time-to-time some orders may be above this threshold.
Subcontractor of the Quarter Winner

Summit Electrical have won the award for being Kier Construction’s Subcontractor of the Quarter for the Lichfield Operational Police Building project that we’re currently working on.
The award comes in recognition of the high standards of Safety, Health and Environmental management delivered on site during the period of July to September 2017
Three Snowhill, Birmingham

BAM Construction have awarded Summit the electrical installation works at Three Snowhill in Birmingham. Summit will be responsible for the electrical installation within the 5 basement levels, ground floor and podium level, complete fit-out works within the office spaces and both roof level works.
Three Snowhill will be a landmark office building at the Gateway to the Birmingham Business District and the final element of the hugely successful Snowhill Estate. Its striking and distinctive architecture will be matched by the character and quality of the office space within. The unique, large open floorplates flooded with natural light will inspire and delight. Three Snowhill will enable occupiers to thrive and meet the challenges of an everchanging business environment.
Three Snowhill will provide 420,000 sq ft of floorspace once complete and will be the largest city centre office development outside of London.
Ballymore has been working on the Snowhill Estate for the past four years and is working on Three Snowhill with M&G Real Estate, which committed £200m to the project.
Summit have commenced work on site with a completion of March 2019.
Fontenoy Street, Liverpool

Create Construction have appointed Summit as the M&E Contractor for the new build student accommodation building, Fontenoy Street in Liverpool.
The project involves the construction of a new build 9 storey development comprising of 200 studio rooms within Liverpool City Centre.
The site is located in the heart of the City centre, adjacent to Liverpool John Moors University and within walking distance to the University of Liverpool campus. The building features amenities including a common room, gym, cinema and private dining room.
Summit Electrical will be responsible for the complete design, supply and installation of the entire Mechanical & Electrical Installations.
M&E Direct Procurement Contractor of the Year

For the 2nd year in a row Summit Electrical have received a Gold Award for M&E Direct Procurement Contractor of the Year by BAM Construction at BAM’s Annual Supply Chain Awards event in Warwick.
Only 5 awards in total were given out to all of BAM’s supply chain in the Midlands Region and Summit received a Gold standard for the only M&E Award presented.
The award comes in recognition of the high standards of health & safety, quality of installation and overall Contracting performance right from the initial enquiry through to completion with particular praise to our Site Teams for maintaining the high standards we set.
