We recently completed a project at Wolverhampton Central Library. The Mayor of Wolverhampton came along to open the cafe section on the first floor.



New Contract - Nunnery Wood High School

Speller Metcalfe Ltd have appointed Summit Electrical Installations Ltd as the Electrical Contractor for the Replacement of the Rosla Block at Nunnery Wood High School, Worcester.Nunnery Wood High School is an academy school in Worcester.

 

It is a co-educational school and a Science College with about 1350 students on roll aged from 11 to 16.


The project involves the demolition of the existing 1970’s built Rosla Block following the new state-of-the-art extension to form a new CDT, Dance and Drama Block. The new block, which will have a pitched roof and double-glazed floodlights, will have two studios for dance and drama and rooms to learn musical instruments in. There will also be new workshops and a number of new general classrooms.


The Project will commence in February 2013 with an overall completion date of March 2014.


Summit will be responsible for the complete design, supply and installation of the new Mains Distribution, Containment Systems, Small Power and Workshop Power Installations, Low Energy Eco-Smart Lighting System, Self-Testing and Reporting Emergency Lighting System, External Lighting, High Quality Stage Lighting and Audio Systems, Wireless Fire Alarm System, Intruder Alarm System, Wireless Access Control Systems, Public Address System, CCTV System, Disabled Refuge System, Data Network System, Lightning Protection and TV Aerial System.



New Contract - Broadway North Resource Centre

Summit Electrical Installations Ltd have been awarded a new contract at Broadway North Resource Centre by Walsall MBC.The project will commence in January and be completed in February.


The centre itself will remain open during the project and the works will take place whilst the residents are present. The project requires particular care and attention due to the nature of use and residents. Walsall MBC had no concerns in selecting Summit, as we are the Electrical Term Maintenance Contractor and regularly work in a number of building with a similar nature.  


Summit will be responsible for the design, supply and installation of the new Fire Alarm System and Emergency Lighting.
